"Motown A-Go-Go" weekend (October 23-27th 2019) in Detroit, Michigan at Bert's Warehouse Theater!. Scherrie, Susaye and Joyce treated the packed audience to several of The Supremes' biggest hits including "You Keep Me Hangin' On," "Stop In The Name of Love," and "Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart." All of the artists joined the ladies onstage for the finale of "Someday We'll Be Together."
Original Supremes' Florence Ballard's twin daughters Michelle and Nicole were in attendance and the ladies were thrilled to be able to chat and take photos with them. Scherrie celebrated her birthday with family, friends and fans at The Abbey club in West Hollywood on Sunday, November 3rd 2019. The Sunday disco brunch in honor of Scherrie was amazing! Great classic disco music, food and drinks, dancing and a special live performance by Scherrie Payne. Scherrie sang her disco classic "I'm Not In Love," and "Here's To Life." Scherrie was presented with 2 cakes as the capacity filled club sang "Happy Birthday" to her. This was a birthday bash to remember! The Ladies were in town performing at the "Motown A-Go-Go event alongside many other classic Motown artists. As part of the museum tour the Ladies were thrilled to see Susaye Greene's special exhibit, as well as a set of sequined Supremes' gowns originally worn by Diana Ross, Mary Wilson & Florence Ballard. When the Ladies arrived in the famed "Studio A" the ladies were greeted by Motown legends Jackie Hicks and Louvain Demps of The Andantes, and Motown Musical Arranger Paul Riser. After the tour the Ladies proudly posed in front of the famed Hittsville U.S.A. building and chatted with Motown fans who came from all over the world to see this historic site. A fantastic time was had by all! ![]() Former Supreme Scherrie Payne attended Thelma Houston's "My Motown Memories" show at The Lancaster Performing Arts Theater in Lancaster, CA. Thelma's fantastic show included many Motown hits by The Marvelettes, Stevie Wonder, The Miracles, Martha & The Vandellas, Gladys Knight & The Pips, and The Supremes! Her slow version of The Supremes' "Love Is Here and Now Your'e Gone" was a showstopper! Of course she performed her Grammy award winning "Don't Leave Me This Way," which had the packed theater up on their feet dancing to her disco classic. A great night was had by all!
